Hearty Mashed Peas
If you dont want to eat potatoes, try this hearty dish made with mashed peas instead. This vegan dish is creamy, tasty, and full of good things for you. It can be a side dish or the main course.
Ingredients:
- 4 cups green peas
- 1/4 cup almond milk
- 2 tablespoons vegan butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Boil peas in salted water until tender, about 5-7 minutes
Drain peas and transfer to a bowl
Add almond milk, vegan butter, minced garlic, and nutritional yeast to the peas
Mash everything together until desired consistency is reached
Season with salt and pepper to taste
Serve hot
