Grilled Chipotle Shrimp
Spice up your barbecue with these Grilled Chipotle Shrimp. The smoky and spicy flavors perfectly complement the succulent shrimp, creating a delicious dish thats quick and easy to prepare.
Ingredients:
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon chipotle powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 lime, juiced
Instructions:
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat
In a bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, chipotle powder, smoked paprika, ground cumin, salt, and pepper to create a marinade
Add the shrimp to the marinade, ensuring each piece is well-coated
Let it marinate for 15-20 minutes
Thread the marinated shrimp onto skewers
Place the shrimp skewers on the preheated grill and cook for 2-3 minutes per side or until the shrimp are opaque and grill marks appear
Remove the shrimp from the grill and sprinkle with fresh cilantro
Drizzle lime juice over the top
