Hot Roast Beef Sandwiches
Ingredients:
- 1 lb roast beef, thinly sliced
- 8 slices provolone cheese
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup horseradish sauce
- 8 hoagie rolls
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350F 175C
In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise and horseradish sauce
Set aside
Slice the hoagie rolls in half and place them on a baking sheet
Layer each bottom half of the rolls with roast beef and provolone cheese slices
Spread the mayonnaise-horseradish mixture over the provolone cheese
Place the top half of the rolls over the beef and cheese to form sandwiches
In another bowl, mix together melted butter, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and chopped parsley
Brush the garlic butter mixture over the tops of the sandwiches
Cover the sandwiches loosely with aluminum foil
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the sandwiches are heated through
Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown
Serve hot and enjoy
