Caramelized Baked Chicken
This caramelized baked chicken recipe delivers a perfect blend of sweet and savory flavors. The brown sugar glaze caramelizes beautifully in the oven, coating each chicken leg or wing with irresistible flavor.
Ingredients:
- 8 chicken legs or wings
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sesame seeds for garnish optional
- Chopped green onions for garnish optional
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 400F 200C
In a bowl, mix brown sugar, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper
Place chicken in a baking dish and pour the sauce mixture over it, making sure each piece is coated
Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until chicken is fully cooked and caramelized, basting occasionally with the sauce from the bottom of the dish
Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions, if desired, before serving
